Description (anglais) : Transport food interception. They met farmers, asked prices and seized bacon and cheese. Later, the rioters intercepted another wagon of wheat and bacon and forced the sale. Randall (1895) reports that ‘One body (not large) went for Tetbury market where having seized a waggon load of wheat and bacon in order to seIl it at their own price, they were opposed and some of them severely beat (with sticks and clubs only)’.
