Description (anglais) : A man resists sequestration of goods by the lieutenant-assesseur in the presidial. The man shouted to his wife to tell the neighbors that his furniture was being seized. ‘Instantly the house of Despallais was filled with people armed with iron bars, clubs and swords, and the sieur Despallais grabbed our person, calling us a rascal of a little huissier, kicking us with his feet and exclaiming ‘‘here is the rogue who demanded an ecu for not selling my furniture’’ ’.
