Description (anglais) : ‘Townsmen massacred more than eighty royal officers, dumping their bodies ignominiously down city wells. Many of these victims were high-ranking chancellors of the household of the king's brother, lieutenant for Languedoc, the Duke of Anjou’ (pp. 81-82). Course of action: Kill podestà or other chief officer. Repression: Particularly bloody repression.
