Description (anglais) : ‘a vast concourse of perhaps 5,000 marched to the deputy mayor's house to debate the machinations of farmers and mealmen for hours before dispersing. A small party carried on the energy of the crowd, breaking windows, destroying bakers' goods, and rescuing prisoners, dispersing only when they were fired upon by the militia and Yeomanry Cavalry.’
